What started a short while ago

Is now coming to a close.
Oh how the time flies.


It's hard to imagine but this trip has to end at some point.
We are nearly two weeks away from our final depature.
Most people will head home back to the states.
As for me I will continue onward to Italy with mi madre.


9 weeks ago I was still at school packing to go home.
and 8 weeks ago my trip began.
I can't believe that I've been gone for that long..
I can't believe how much I have learned in such a short time.


20 days to go.
20 days until I get back home.
20 days til I have a normal routine.
I can't believe this really has to end.


I love how much I have done.
and all of the memories I have from this.
But I am very excited for the next few weeks starting with Italy.
After Spain I'll get to explore through Rome.
And then my arrival back into the state is July 30th:)
Write it down and remember!
Thats the day that I'll be able to text and call and hold a normal conversation that is not on facebook.


Spain has been so different then the rest of the trip.
I had been put into a new group of people.
Only about 6 of us from the first half of the trip came on to Spain.
And adjusting to the people here after being with the same people was slightly difficult.
But now it's just like anything else.
Except I really miss the people from before.


I have though managed to meet some amazing people here.
There are two girls I hang out with a lot one from Serbia and the other is from Austria!
So now more friends around the world.

Oh and here's a cool fact.
There are some French kids that live in my apartment building
and they can't speak english,
or well not enough to keep a conversation
So we have to use spanish and sign language-ish as a form of communication.
But we still hang out with them a good amount
so that shows you that language should never be a barrier to friendship.

Mmk, well tomorrow holds the adventure of the World Cup finals
which Spain is in and I will be watching in Spain:)!
Pull for them!
Oh and I've been sick all weekend. I'm feeling slightly better today but
not 100% so please keep me in your prayers.
